Eclipse on Show - the London Vet Show, that is!

15th October 2013

Eclipse exhibited for very first time at the London Vet Show this year at Olympia on Stand D76 in the Equine Area.

We took great pleasure from sponsoring a lecture from:
Tim Greet, BVMS, MVM, Cert EO, DESTS, Dip ECVS, FRCVS,
Managing Partner & Senior Surgeon, Rossdales Equine Hospital

The session was entitled:
Equine cases which might be suitable for referral and how to refer such patients?

The presentation covered a variety of situations where an equine patient may benefit from referral to more specialist facilities and the circumstances under which referral might be most effectively achieved.

Tim is an RCVS and Equine Registered Specialist in Equine Surgery
Past President BEVA, BVA and WEVA. Honorary Professor University of Glasgow, and Associate Lecturer University of Cambridge

Eclipse Mobile App on iTunes

Eclipse Mobile App on iTunes

15th July 2013

Eclipse Mobile is now officially available from the iTunes store and can be downloaded direct to your iPad or iPhone.

Practices using Eclipse PMS can now access their information 'on the move', with animal histories and diary appointments updated whenever a live connection is established. When off-line, Eclipse Mobile is fully functional, enabling vets working remotely away from the practice to carry on with all the details necessary to make visits and treat the animals they are due to see.

Keeping track of the work done is as easy as a few taps and booking information is be sent back to the practice immediately the iPad next makes a connection via 3G/4G or wifi. No more long hours catching up at the end of a long day in the field!

Field trials of Eclipse Mobile underway

Field trials of Eclipse Mobile underway

18th January 2013

Ambulatory and hospital vets at all the equine practices using Eclipse will have their first opportunity to take Mobile, the new iPad/iPhone edition for a test drive this week.

Designed to enable animal histories, client information, lab test results and diagnostic imaging to be carried easily on visits and around the consult/exam rooms, Eclipse Mobile is a revolutionary break through in convenient access.

While the device is connected via WiFi or 3G/4G, any information from the central systems are available to authorised users. While vets are making visits to more remote/rural locations and are not online, any information needed for the immediate task in hand plus much else besides (just in case you are asked to look at an animal not specifically booked in for that appointment!), is available even when there is no connection. When next online, new clinical notes entered by the vet in the field are updated, billing information is sent back to booking/accounts staff, and new appointments/other info is downloaded automatically ready for the vet to use when needed.

"We are delighted that our customers can try out the new Eclipse Mobile app for themselves now. We hope everyone will enjoy being able to look things up and keep track of their appointments and messages easily while they are out making visits" said CEO Jeanne Razzell. "We have many more new features in the pipeline for the Mobile edition. This is just the start of a whole new chapter in the Eclipse story."
