A major new version of the Eclipse Mobile was released this year, the first significant update since the app was first seen in January 2013.
Eclipse Mobile rapidly became a critical tool for ambulatory vets in particular, enabling them to have all of the relevant animal and client details to hand wherever they were working.
Eclipse Mobile 2 adds a range of useful new features:
- Improved diary display
- Document and image uploads
- Product list with prices
- Stock bundles
It is more data-hungry than its predecessor but it is better able to handle short videos, and offers even slicker routines for booking the work carried out on vets’ visits. All the old features are still available, to help with keeping track of stock used, voice-dictation for clinical notes, Google maps to help find the way to appointments, and easy ways to mark things as done/check urgent test results/see where that pesky ultrasound scanner is going to be tomorrow…
